# Audio Input

**Type:** `nodetool.input.AudioInput`

**Namespace:** `nodetool.input`

## Description

Accepts a reference to an audio asset for workflows, specified by an 'AudioRef'.  An 'AudioRef' points to audio data that can be used for playback, transcription, analysis, or processing by audio-capable models.
